T-Group
Four to eight people hold a forty-minute conversation entirely about what they notice in themselves, in each other and in the group, right now, using four hand signals — agreement, bring it to now, reveal yourself, headline — to keep it out of story and in the present, then each checks out. Sensitivity training as a game, and the manual is clear it wants trained facilitators and a dedicated group.
Prerequisites
- The manual asks that each breakout group include someone experienced in T-group
- Forty minutes of in-the-moment interpersonal feedback with no agenda is the classic setting in which a group turns on one member; the 'reveal yourself' signal can be declined, and the facilitator's job is to see that it can

Origin
Sensitivity training groups, developed from the 1960s and studied at NTL Institute; this codification by Authentic Revolution — T-group / sensitivity training (NTL); carried into Authentic Relating (Authentic Relating Games Manual, 2025 edition)
The manual itself points readers to the research literature and to local T-groups rather than claiming the form as its own.
