Whoever is caught freezes as a statue and can only be released by someone walking up and paying them a compliment. The sheet suggests starting by working out together what compliments the group might use.
Hold with care
- Running and sudden direction changes in a shared space; the usual cautions about floor, footwear and furniture apply and the sheet does not give them
- Compliments given under time pressure can get thin or arch; the sheet's preparatory step — deciding together what compliments to use — is what stops that and is easy to skip
