Sitting in a ring, the leader reads the first of a set of prepared unfinished sentences and the first person completes it immediately with whatever comes into their head. Anyone who genuinely cannot may pass. The sheet's examples: I am proud of…; two things I like doing with friends are…; three good things about friendship are…; it is good to be alone when…
Hold with care
- Answers are about the person and are spoken to the whole group, immediately and without time to prepare
- The pass is the safeguard and is one clause in the sheet — a leader should name it before the first sentence, not leave it to be discovered
- How exposing it is depends entirely on the sentences, which the sheet says should be relevant to these particular participants
