The Line-Up
The group arranges itself in a line in a given order without speaking — first the obvious, tallest to shortest, then orders nobody can see: who was born furthest away, who has travelled most, who dreams most at night. Timed, or with eyes closed, it gets harder. The page's closing tip is the reason it is here: afterwards, each person notices what role they took — did you take command and place people, or hang back? — with the instruction that neither is right and it need not be discussed, only noticed.
- The abstract orders make people place themselves publicly on things about their own lives, without words to qualify it — how personal that gets is set by the criteria the leader picks
