Status Cards on Foreheads

Everyone draws a playing card and wears it on their forehead without seeing it, then plays a scene. Everybody can read everyone else's status but not their own, and you learn what you are from how you are treated. Guesses come at the end.

Hold with care
  • Being treated as low status by a whole room without knowing why is the mechanism, and it is a genuinely uncomfortable experience that some people will recognise from outside the room
  • Nobody can opt out of their card once it is on, so the choice has to be made before it goes on
  • This needs a debrief: what people did to each other on the strength of a card is the material, and leaving it unspoken leaves it in the room
