Everyone tucks a length of string into the back of their waistband and moves around the room trying to snatch as many other people's strings as they can, tucking each one they take into their own waistband — while guarding the ones they already have.
Hold with care
- Running and sudden direction changes in a shared space; the usual cautions about floor, footwear and furniture apply and the sheet does not give them
- Reaching for something tucked into another person's waistband — the grab is at the lower back, which needs saying before a group starts
- The sheet offers a competitive version where losing your string puts you out until the next round
