Everyone stands in a ring holding hands. One person tags another by touching their foot with their own, and the touched person becomes the tagger. Letting go of your neighbours' hands is not allowed, so the whole ring lurches with every attempt.
Hold with care
- Sustained hand-holding on both sides for the whole game; the sheet notes people who do not want to hold hands and offers to adapt, which is unusually thoughtful for a tag sheet
- Feet reaching for feet inside a held ring — the sheet asks players to be careful not to hurt each other in the eagerness to tag, and to say so before starting
