Disclosure · what is sharedrequired

Two closely interdependent people — a couple, colleagues — circle each other on a tension between them while four to eight others sit around and attend only to the space between the two, sharing what that does in them and never taking a side. Built so the pair can speak their connection without fear of being judged by the watchers. From Circling Switzerland.

Prerequisites

  • A real tension between two people who depend on each other, and — the manual's own note — someone experienced in the outer circle to lead if the others are new
Hold with care
  • A relationship's live tension worked in front of witnesses; the 'no sides' design holds only as long as the outer circle keeps its attention on the connection and off the individuals, which is the leading role's whole job
