One player is a monster and crosses the floor as hideously as they can, with noises; everyone else are fairies tripping on tiptoe. A tagged fairy becomes a monster, so the monsters multiply — until one fairy is left, at which point the game turns and the last fairy chases the monsters back into fairies. The sheet suggests agreeing together how each creature looks, moves and, tellingly, how fast, so the game fits everyone's abilities.
Hold with care
- Running and sudden direction changes in a shared space; the usual cautions about floor, footwear and furniture apply and the sheet does not give them
