Mindful Pause (Informal Practice)
The informal half of mindfulness training: bringing awareness deliberately into everyday activities — pausing before responding where one would otherwise act through habit or impulse. A seconds-to-minutes micro-practice attached to daily life rather than a cushion: waiting for coffee, opening a meeting, reading a difficult email.

The same genre as Jordan's VCoL micro-practices — high frequency, zero container. Formal sitting builds the capacity; the pause is where it enters behaviour.
