Guru of the Altitudes
Each chair is a stage of development from Integral theory — Infrared, Magenta, Red, Amber, Orange, Green, Teal — and whoever sits there embodies it: the Amber chair holds traditional values and stands for hierarchy. The last chair asks a question; the other chairs answer as gurus of their altitude; everyone moves one chair left. Made for an Integral meetup, to feel both the wisdom and the partiality of any single way of thinking.
- The altitudes model ranks worldviews, and embodying a 'lower' one from a chair invites caricature; the manual's own aim is to feel each level's wisdom as well as its partiality, which needs saying before the first question
