A scene on a very serious subject — death, illness, addiction are the source's examples — and any player who laughs or giggles is replaced by another. A variation turns it around: whoever makes someone in the audience laugh has to put something in their mouth each time.
Hold with care
- The subjects the source proposes — death, illness, addiction — are live for someone in most rooms, and the exercise asks people to hold them straight-faced while being watched for a crack
- Being replaced for laughing is a public failure at not reacting to something difficult, which is a strange thing to make a game of and is worth naming as such before running it
