One person testifies for five minutes to an 'article of faith' they used to hold and have begun to doubt — unconditional love, hard work pays, the goodness of government — while the facilitator, as Voice of God, notes the voices of doubt that surface. The others each take one as a role and debate the article, changing sides if convinced; God may call cage matches, echoes and silences. The testifier ends by saying what changed. Inspired by Internal Family Systems; built to run on Zoom as well as in a room.

Hold with care
  • The testifier is the only person disclosing and hears their doubt argued by everyone else; the Voice of God's powers exist to protect them — the manual says use them sparingly but directively
