Disclosure · what is sharednone
Half the group stands scattered with their eyes closed. Music starts and the other half each go to someone and dance them around, while the dancer keeps their eyes shut throughout. Partners change three times; at the end the ones who could not see try to guess who their three partners were.
Hold with care
- Being danced with by someone you cannot see and have not chosen — the pairing is made for you, and the person with their eyes open picks
- Sustained close contact set to music; consent needs asking for explicitly rather than being assumed from taking part
- The closing guess makes public who danced with whom, which some people will find the most exposing part
