The Values Check-In
A seconds-scale daily micro-practice for Inner Compass (VCoL collection): When you notice you are about to decide or act, pause for 2-3 seconds. Ask yourself silently: "Does this align with what I believe is right? Does this serve something larger than my immediate convenience?" Notice your gut response. Practised many times a day, with a brief evening reflection, until the move becomes automatic. Distinct from 'Values Check-in', the five-minute team meeting opener — this is the solo micro-practice.
