One person calls theatre commands — upstage, stage left, bring in the flies, tableau, tragedy, comedy, wings — and everyone else obeys as fast as they can, miming or running to position. The last to respond each round sits out until one player is left and takes a bow.

Hold with care
  • The sheet says it directly: the game requires quick movement around the space and health and safety measures may need to be considered
  • Players are eliminated one at a time until a single winner remains
  • Two of the commands ask for an enacted death and an enacted fall
