The Assumption Suspension
A seconds-scale daily micro-practice for Inclusive Mindset and Intercultural Competence (VCoL collection): When you notice yourself making an assumption about someone based on their background, gender, role, culture, or other category, pause. Acknowledge the assumption silently. Then consciously suspend it. Practised many times a day, with a brief evening reflection, until the move becomes automatic.
