Students take a single animal's traits — how it moves, sounds and behaves — and apply them to a human character, then rehearse a scene in small groups where each person's character is built on a different animal. The sheet is emphatic that nobody plays an animal; the animal is a way in to a person. Watching groups guess which animal is behind each character.
